I now weigh 120 pounds. Shucks! From a mere 96 pound girl at 4 feet, 9 inches, I now weigh 120 lbs. I think these all came from the food tripping I have had in the last year. That and s-t-r-e-s-s. The stress from coping with teaching in a public school and handling differently abled learners.
So I came across old pictures of me and I could not help but think “I SHOULD LOSE THIS!” This added weight, I mean.
That would mean saying goodbye to all these food trips of mine. Saying goodbye to all the unwanted fats and calories and taking the time to MOVE. Exercise should be on my TO-DO list next to doing research for class activities.
Here’s posting pics of mine several years back and NOW pics. Uggh, help!!! 🙂
The word minindal means “snack” in Filipino although this restaurant here in Cagayan de Oro does not only serve snacks but complete meals as well.
Its bestsellers are its Sisig, Carbonara, Kare-Kare to name a few. The atmosphere is warm and inviting and its interiors boasts of wooden furniture and artwork that are also for sale. The place is often full with groups and families either celebrating a milestone or having a meeting.
I’ve been there a few times for Victory group meetings (we held our Christmas get-together there in one of their small private rooms) and with friends.
The place is a must-visit for every local and foreign tourist here in Cagayan de Oro City. Their prices are affordable and the staff is accommodating.
My most recent visit was with a friend of mine, J., who’s from Cagayan de Oro together with a visitor and a former co-fellow who’s from Manila, T.
I started this blog because I like trying out new places to eat especially when I’m in a place far away from home.
I’m originally from Cebu City but migrated to Cagayan de Oro for ten months to teach in a public school as a Teacher Fellow of a non-profit organization. Thus, most of my posts will be on places here in CDO but will be going back to my hometown this summer.
